Mr. Samuel D. Hillmon serves as Chief Information Officer of Edgepoint Integrity Services.

Mr. Hillmon is an Information Technology (IT), and Health IT Executive with over thirty-seven years of experience in Private Industry and the Department of Defense (DoD) IT. He supported the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) the past thirteen years.

Most recently he served as Senior Operations Executive, Health IT Training, for Global Connections to Employment, a non-profit organization creating meaningful employment for people with significant disabilities. In that role he was responsible for MHS Genesis training for DoD’s healthcare facilities world-wide. He also served as Director of Technical Programs, Federal Health IT for MAXIMUS Federal. At MAXIMUS, he led business development, customer relations management, IT infrastructure engineering design, cybersecurity operations, and enterprise application development for DHA and CMS.

While at the Defense Information Systems Agency, he developed DoD enterprise information sourcing, retrieval, and sharing technologies for DoD’s Combatant Commands and the National Geospatial Agency.

He is a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as an IT Officer, at assignments in the United States, Asia, and Europe.

Mr. Hillmon received a BS degree in Biology from Valdosta State University, GA; a Master of Science degree in International Relations from Troy State University, AL., with honors; and Master’s degrees in both Information Technology and in Health Care Management from Marymount University, VA, and both with honors.
